Quiet changes
We keep a copy of the pricing, terms, privacy and deprecation pages of the tools we track, and compare each new fetch with the previous one. Vendors rarely announce when they change a retention clause or a rate — this is how you find out anyway.
Only the differences are shown, never the page itself. And a change is only reported when it looks like an edit: if a page suddenly halves, or almost every line differs, that is far more likely to be a blocked request than a rewritten price list, so we report nothing. That exact case happened while building this.
Some vendors refuse us. Those pages are marked refused below rather than left to look like pages where nothing ever happens — we would rather say we cannot see something than imply we checked it.
